A voluntary effort of non-government, government and diverse other participants seeking to identify, test, refine and document rapidly deployable, effective, cheap, and environmentally friendly infrastructures and solutions to be applied to a wide range of human needs (see next slide)
A set of processes, conceptual frameworks, information, and other resources available globally via the internet for disasters, refugee operations, and development activities.
TIDES has a strong educational focus, and is building partners at graduate, under-graduate, and high school levels
