What is Tides?
•A voluntary effort of non-government, government and diverse other participants seeking to identify, test, refine and document rapidly deployable, effective, cheap, and environmentally friendly infrastructures and solutions to be applied to a wide range of human needs (see next slide)
•A set of processes, conceptual frameworks, information, and other resources available globally via the internet for disasters, refugee operations, and development activities.
•TIDES has a strong educational focus, and is building partners at graduate, under-graduate, and high school levels
