FAQ: How to Close and Remove Expired Meetings from Your Adobe Connect Meeting List

How to Close and Remove Expired Meetings from Your Adobe Connect Meeting

About the Web Part

The Adobe Connect Meeting List Web Part displays all Adobe Connect meetings that you have created or to which you have been invited specifically, both active and expired.

Prerequisites

1.       You have logged in to harmonieweb.org.

2.     The Adobe Connect Login web part is added to a page available to you.

How to Close an Adobe Connect Meeting

Once you create a meeting room in Adobe Connect it exists and is accessible 24/7, even if it isn’t scheduled.  The rooms are always open by default. If you don’t want people to access your meeting anymore, you must close the meeting.

Steps

1. Launch Adobe Connect. On the Adobe Connect Login web part, click Launch Adobe Connect.

2. Click the Meeting menu on the top menu bar and select End Meeting. This will close the meeting and remove everyone from the room.

3. Logout of Adobe Connect. In the upper right-hand corner, click Logout.

How to Remove Expired Meetings from Adobe Connect

You may wish to remove expired meetings from the list. Note: You can only remove expired meetings that you have created. It is up to the host of the expired meetings to which you have been invited to remove those meetings from his or her list.

Steps

1. Launch Adobe Connect. On the Adobe Connect Login web part, click Launch Adobe Connect.

2. View Your Scheduled Meetings. In the new My Home Page window, do the following:

a. In the main toolbar, click Meetings.

b. In the Meeting List, select the checkbox for the meeting you wish to remove.

c. In the Meeting List toolbar, click Delete.

d. The page will display the message "You have selected the following items to delete." Review the list of meetings. If you have selected the correct meetings, click Delete.

e. The Meeting List page will be displayed. The list will no longer contain the meetings you have removed.

3. Logout of Adobe Connect. In the upper right-hand corner, click Logout.
